Returns Policy – RTW Bridal

Thank you for shopping with us. We understand that purchasing bridal-wear is a significant decision, and we aim to ensure you are fully satisfied with your order. Please read our Returns Policy carefully.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns on Ready-to-Wear (RTW) bridal garments under the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within 10 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in their original condition with all tags, labels, and protective packaging intact.

  • Returns must be accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on veils, headpieces, undergarments, or custom-altered items.

Made-to-Measure & Customised Items

Please note that Made-to-Measure garments or items that have been customised at your request—such as added buttons, adjusted lengths, altered necklines, or any other modifications—are considered final sale and are non-returnable and non-refundable.
This includes:

  • Made-to-Measure sizing based on individual body measurements

  • Design changes requested after purchase

  • Personalised alterations (e.g. added sleeves, buttons, or trims)

We recommend reviewing your measurements and requested customisations carefully before placing your order.

How to Initiate a Return

To begin the return process:

  • Email our customer service team at amy@amymaircouture.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.

  • Once your return is approved, we will send you return instructions and a return authorisation number.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was incorrect or faulty.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7 business days.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • If the item shows signs of wear or damage, we may refuse the return or issue a partial refund.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or style, please return the original item and place a new order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us at amy@amymaircouture.co.uk within 5 days of receiving your order. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

International Orders

We gladly accept international orders; however, please note the following for returns:

  • The above return conditions apply to international purchases.

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including customs duties, import taxes, and any additional fees incurred during transit.

  • We recommend using a trackable, insured courier to ensure safe delivery of your return.

  • We are not responsible for returned items lost or delayed in transit.

  • Refunds for international orders will be processed in the original currency and payment method; please allow extra time for cross-border processing.

 

Final Sale Items

Items marked as Final Sale or Clearance are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Shipping Policy - Haute Couture

Our shipping costs include the packaging and media material. Our courier service is secure and safe and 100% protected.

The total costs indicated on shipment costs upon purchases cover the packaging, media included, the secure courier service and insurance for the goods.

When making your purchase from our online store, you can trust that we will take great care in packaging and shipping your couture bridal dress. We offer a secure and safe shipment service using only the most trusted shipping providers. You can rest assured that your dress will be delivered in perfect condition, with tracking information provided for your convenience.

Return & Exchange Policy - Haute Couture

Our online store offers a diverse range of couture bridal gowns that cater to every bride. We make sure that our customers are informed about the unique qualities of each gown before they make a purchase, as our gowns are made to measure for your specific measurements. We do not refund the purchase amount, but we guarantee that our gowns are crafted with precision and style that will surely make your wedding day unforgettable.

Our aim is to iron out any concerns at the enquiry stage before purchasing to avoid any indecision. By speaking to the designer you will be able to make an informed decision whether you purchase or not, clarity and honesty is extremely important to us. But unfortunately what we cannot do is refund the purchase amount because we have purchased the fabrics and used the materials in your product created to your specific measurements which are completely unique to you and we would not be able to re sell to another customer. We also create our gowns in house, we have a small team that take time and care over all of our products including Amy Mair - the designer so therefore all of the costs have already been allocated.
