Why I decided to launch RTW Bridal after 12 years of Haute Couture Collections.......

Don't get me wrong, of course, I plan on creating many more Couture collections too; however, I craved a new outlet for my creativity! And I feel so strongly that there is a market for ordering bridal gowns online. Someone recently said to me, 'Bridal is one of the last things to go online,' and it's true. Many enjoy the experience of going to a bridal shop and trying on a variety of gowns, and you can still do that with RTW. However, we are now offering brides-to-be worldwide access to our gowns. We have been shipping our gowns worldwide for many years as it is, but now we want more brides to have access to our gowns and have the security of knowing they can return a gown if it is not quite right.

The visits to my website are growing by the day, but more excitingly, they are coming from most countries in the world! We have now added another 20 languages to the website, which is hugely exciting for us! Our Ready to wear Bridal page has been set up for a year so we have already seen a demand for this by brides clicking through to the page and waiting for the launch date.

We want our audience to find our website as accessible as possible. Should you need to contact me directly with any queries, that is fine too, of course; we can translate back and forth via contacts. Our customers from the USA, Canada, and Australia have all been ordering over the past 5 years, so we have a pretty smooth and secure shipping process now! If I saw a gown on a website that I loved and wanted to try but was in Australia, knowing I could order and try it on at home and have the gown for my wedding would make me extremely excited. We hope our brides feel the same.

The Collection

The Ready to Wear Bridal collection is called "Dreamed in Nature." If you know my brand, then by now you probably also know that nature and my surroundings have hugely inspired me this has remained for my Ready to Wear Bridal body of work. Staying connected to nature and the outdoors has never been so important to me. After not being well during Christmas of 2024, I discovered that I needed and wanted to be connected to nature more than ever! Discovering meditation and then meditating outside—jackpot! Running and finding stillness in my soul (it sounds so corny) has brought me back to all my loves: my family, design, and living life in the moment! I could talk so much about specific inspirations for each dress, but equally, I would love to dedicate a whole blog to that with some exceptional links! The connection to nature has always been prominent in my work, but I do also like to seek other outlets to bring into the theme. This is why I started this day-long tangent on prints, bought fabric paint, which I then left in my drawer to actually focus on getting a collection together. Bearing in mind keeping the smaller margins, a day-long floral print would not have fit within this! So wait to see some color in the next Couture Collection!

Pricing, Shipping & Returns

We have priced these gowns to sell. We reached out to our followers and asked for price ranges, and most wanted the prices to be between £1,000 - £1,700, and we delivered on that. However, there's always one dress that goes off the scale, and boy did she: "Strawberry Thief," inspired by William Morris's textile print. With the depths of layers and by replicating this idea, we created multiple layers of hand embroidery on top of a colored embroidery. This design was inspired within the same brief; however, the costings don't quite fit with the other items in the collection! This gown, however, is priced extremely well compared to our Haute Couture ranges. She stays in the Ready to Wear Bridal Campaign as that's where she belongs! We have made a promise to ship worldwide, and that's what we will do! We understand there is a current market demand mostly in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and some of Europe, but we want to make sure shoppers are at ease and can purchase from anywhere in the world.

We are offering returns as long as the gown returns in the same condition as it left and other details which you can read in full here. However, the main point with our returns option is that you have the freedom to return if you need to! If you love a dress and nothing is comparing, the gown just fits in your vision for the day - it is what you dream about when you're having those aisle dreams, then try it! Why not!?
